What is a typical day at Getaway Fitness?
Fitness and Fun is what our getaway days are all about. Being outdoors and active, enjoying the natural beauty of our location while getting pushed to to challenge yourself through our intensive schedule of training.
Every day is a fitness adventure!
Each day is different at Getaway Fitness. It is packed with a variety of fitness training and what we call fitness activities such as kayaking, biking, paddle boarding and so on. The program takes place mostly off the resort property which allows our guests to explore the city in which our retreat is hosted.
We are not a "schedule of classes" but more a fitness adventure. Our trainer will be with you throughout the day versus a class model where it's just an hour with a trainer. This structure gives us the opportunity for our training team to really know each guest personally, know what their goals are and what it will take to help them meet their fitness and nutrition goals.
The sample schedule to the right is an example of what a daily schedule would look like. Mixed into the days of our our retreat are many of the the training and activities listed to comprise a diverse day of approximately 5 hours of fitness. The remaining time is for lunch and transition between training/activities.
